Ruth Millar

Ruth Millar is a former journalist and librarian who for many years headed the Local History Room at the Saskatoon Public Library. Her writing has appeared in such publications as Western People, Saskatoon History Review, Briarpatch, the StarPhoenix and others, plus two short stories in a literary journal, and anthologies. She appeared frequently on local television, authored Saskatchewan Heroes & Rogues (Coteau Books, 2004) and Turning Back the Pages (Coteau, 2012), and wrote and illustrated The Alexandria Quintet Goes to Paris (self-published, 2016). Saskatoon: A History in Photographs (Coteau, 2006) was co-authored with Bill Delainey and Jeff O’Brien.
Bill Delainey

Born and reared in rural Saskatchewan, William P. (Bill) Delainey is a former Saskatoon high school teacher who also worked part time in the Local History Room for many years. He has co-authored a social studies text book for the Saskatchewan Department of Education and several local history publications; one of the latter being Saskatoon: A History in Photographs with Jeff O’Brien and Ruth W Millar. He received a Saskatchewan Volunteer Recognition Award for the contributions he has made to heritage education over the years.
